Violet Grohl expands 2026 UK tour due to phenomenal demand

NME · 2 months ago

Violet Grohl, the Los Angeles-based musician and daughter of Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, has expanded her 2026 UK tour in response to what promoters described as "overwhelming demand". The additional dates follow the release of her debut solo album, "Be Sweet To Me", in May via Auroura Records / Republic Records, and reflect the strong early reception to her live shows.

Having first announced US, UK and European dates in April and later added a second London show, Grohl has now upgraded her Manchester venue from the Deaf Institute to Band On The Wall on 25 August and added a new Brighton show at Chalk on 8 October. The wider run includes two sold-out nights at London's Barfly Camden, further UK and Irish shows, and festival appearances at Reading & Leeds, Electric Picnic, Pukkelpop and Lowlands, alongside a lengthy North American leg. Grohl has also spoken about being a young woman in rock, while her father said he was "totally uninvolved" and had no idea she had signed a record deal until she told him.
