Independent US distributor Bleecker Street has acquired the American rights to NDA, a psychological thriller starring Rachel Zegler, Penn Badgley and Amy Ryan. The deal is notable as the film marks the feature directorial debut of Audrey Ellis Fox, a commercial director for brands such as Nike and Gatorade, whose original screenplay appeared on the 2024 Black List and was chosen for the 2023 Women in Film X Black List Feature Residency programme.

The film follows Dana, played by Zegler, through a fraught day of mediation over an office harassment claim she has filed, as she weighs the cost of her silence against her sanity and the truth before a fixed deadline. NDA is currently shooting in New York City and is produced by teams from Mighty Engine, Snoot, Tanbark Pictures and In The Cut Productions. The cast brings notable pedigrees: Zegler is a Golden Globe and Olivier Award winner, Badgley is known for Gossip Girl and You, and Ryan is an Oscar nominee for Gone Baby Gone.
