Final extension: Startup Battlefield Australia applications now close July 20
Startup Battlefield Australia, TechCrunch's early-stage startup competition, has pushed back its application deadline to July 20 in response to strong founder interest. The program has built credibility over its nine-year history, with 26 alumni companies collectively raising more than $147 million and achieving three successful acquisitions, backed by leading venture capital firms such as Y Combinator and Blackbird Ventures.
Selected founders will present to prominent investors and media at a live pitch event on August 19 in Sydney, competing for Stripe fee credits and automatic entry to Startup Battlefield 200 at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco this October. The competition welcomes early-stage startups from Australia and New Zealand at the pre-seed through Series B stage, with free applications and no equity requirement.
