A woman and her two children have been found murdered at a £1.3 million luxury home in Great Denham, near Bedford, and police are hunting the property's owner, who has fled the UK. Officers forced entry to the four-bedroom, four-bathroom detached house on Monday after concerns were raised that the family had not been seen for several days, uncovering what Bedfordshire Police have called an "incredibly complex" triple murder investigation.

The victims have been named as Zandile Tshuma and her two children, whose ages are not known. The suspect is her husband, Mark Tshuma, a senior IT manager earning £100,000 a year with a degree in Computing Informatics from the University of Plymouth. The family, said to originate from Zimbabwe, were described by a neighbour as "decent" and "well to do", known for their five-series BMW. Police are appealing for witnesses, particularly anyone who saw or heard anything on the Friday and Saturday before the discovery.
