Tom Holland’s Non-Alcoholic Beer Brand BERO Debuts Collab With Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’

The Hollywood Reporter · 3 hours ago

Actor Tom Holland, who plays Telemachus in Christopher Nolan's forthcoming epic The Odyssey, has launched a collaboration between his non-alcoholic beer brand BERO and the Universal Pictures film. Going on sale from 8 July via BERO's website, the tie-in takes the form of a limited-edition "Noon Wheat" six-pack with collectible packaging and can designs inspired by the film, marking a promotional crossover between a major cinema release and a celebrity-founded drinks brand.

BERO, co-created by Holland and John Herman, framed the collaboration around a shared interest in storytelling and adventure. The Odyssey, written, directed and produced by Nolan with his wife Emma Thomas for their Syncopy company, stars Matt Damon as Odysseus alongside a cast including Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Zendaya and Charlize Theron. Filmed entirely in IMAX, it reaches cinemas on 17 July. Holland, who next returns as Spider-Man in Brand New Day on 31 July, has previously said the brand supports his sobriety, as selling non-alcoholic beer while drinking would feel inauthentic.
