Daddy Yankee & Shenseea Score No. 1 on Latin Airplay Chart With ‘Echo (FIFA World Cup 2026)’
Daddy Yankee and Shenseea have hit No. 1 on Billboard's Latin Airplay chart (dated 11 July) with "Echo (FIFA World Cup 2026)", which jumped from No. 6 to the top in its sixth week on the ranking. The milestone is notable because it is Jamaican singer Shenseea's first No. 1 on any Latin chart — and her first appearance on a Latin ranking at all — while it gives Daddy Yankee his 31st career leader on the chart.
The bilingual track claimed Greatest Gainer honours after drawing 6.7 million US audience impressions in the 26 June–2 July tracking week, up 31%, according to Luminate. It is Daddy Yankee's second No. 1 of 2026 and lifts him level with Bad Bunny for the third-most Latin Airplay chart-toppers among rhythmic artists, behind J Balvin, Ozuna and Enrique Iglesias. "Echo" is taken from the FIFA World Cup 2026: Official Album, an 18-track compilation whose songs — including Shakira and Burna Boy's "Dai Dai" — have charted across Billboard's US and global rankings.
