Asher White Preps Second Album of 2026
Prolific musician Asher White has announced her second full-length album of 2026, titled Love Aggregates, which will be released on 28 August via Joyful Noise. It serves as the follow-up to last year's 8 Tips for Full Catastrophe Living, and its lead single, "The Eagle Is No Omen", arrives with a video in which White falls into debt playing online poker and journeys through pawn shops and casinos to recoup her losses.
White described the single as a "comprehensive self-inventory" touching on her relationship to substance, gender dysphoria, an eating disorder, her grandfather's recent death, heartbreak, moral scrupulosity and the recovery of the American bald eagle, which was declared no longer endangered in 2007. Earlier this year, in February, she released a full-album cover of Jessica Pratt's 2012 self-titled debut. The 11-track album is available to pre-order for $37 at Rough Trade, and White will play a brief US tour in October before touring the UK and Ireland, including a set at Pitchfork Music Festival London on 3 November.
