Ariana Grande has shared a set of promotional teasers ahead of her forthcoming album, Petal, releasing an alternate picture-disc edition of the record and two snippets of previously unheard songs. The move builds anticipation for the album, which follows her chart-topping 2024 release Eternal Sunshine and marks her return with new material after a two-year gap.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday 8 July, Grande posted a black-and-white photograph of her face, partially obscured by shadow and an out-of-focus flower, which is printed on an exclusive disc now available to preorder via her website. She also included two stripped-back song clips highlighting her vocals, one filmed in the studio; the lyrics of the first suggest it may be track five, "Oh Well". Petal is due out on 31 July, with its tracklist previously revealed during her ongoing Eternal Sunshine Tour, and so far only the lead single "Hate That I Made You Love Me", which debuted at number one on the Hot 100, has been released.
