Indie artist Squirrel Flower, the project of musician Ella Williams, has released two new songs, "Not Me" and "Sick Tooth", offering further previews of her forthcoming album Say A Prayer To The Gods Of Getting Going. The tracks follow the earlier lead single "Reelin" and showcase contrasting sides of her work: "Not Me" is described as an elegant roots-rock ballad with a touch of Beach House grandeur, while "Sick Tooth" is a distortion-heavy, high-energy piece in the vein of her track "intheskatepark".

Williams provided a written explanation for "Not Me", saying it came to her on waking in Silver City, New Mexico, after a dream, prompting her to grab her guitar and record immediately. She cited the book Women Who Run With The Wolves and heavy listening to Linda Ronstadt as influences, wanting to let herself "really sing" in the arrangement. The album is due out on 21 August 2026 via Polyvinyl, with accompanying videos directed by Amaya Peña ("Not Me") and Nathaniel Williams ("Sick Tooth").
