BRESH Global Acquires Majority Stake in Argentina’s Grupo Polenta, Uniting Two Latin Party Giants
BRESH Global, the Argentine touring party brand, has acquired a majority stake in fellow Argentine live-entertainment company Grupo Polenta, Billboard exclusively reported on Wednesday 8 July. The deal is BRESH's first add-on acquisition and unites two of Latin America's leading DJ-driven nightlife brands, signalling consolidation in the region's experiential live-music sector.
Polenta, founded in Buenos Aires and popular with Gen Z and younger millennials, will keep its own brand and creative identity, with co-founders Marina Frohmann and Ignacio Elizalde continuing to lead it; Frohmann remains chief executive. In 2024 Polenta staged roughly 120 events across Latin America, Europe and the United States. BRESH Global, backed by holding company Carabela, says it reaches audiences in more than 30 countries and 200 cities, producing over 500 events a year for more than a million attendees, and describes Polenta as a complementary, "asset-light" addition to its platform.
