Netflix has confirmed that Luciane Buchanan will return as Rose Larkin in the fourth and final season of its action-conspiracy thriller The Night Agent. The character, the primary love interest of Gabriel Basso's Peter Sutherland, was absent from Season 3, a gap many fans blamed for the show's dip in viewership. Her comeback is being framed as correcting the season's most significant flaw as the series heads towards its conclusion.

The Night Agent has become Netflix's flagship big-budget action series, particularly after the cancellation of The Recruit, though ratings have gradually declined since its debut. Season 3 premiered earlier in 2026 and was swiftly renewed, with the platform simultaneously confirming Season 4 would be its last. In an interview tied to her new film Evil Dead Burn, Buchanan reflected on her early willingness to take any job to pay rent, which led to her original casting, and on the "mixed feelings" she experienced when told, roughly two months after wrapping Season 2, that the writers could not find a way to bring her character back.
