Pokémon Legends: Z-A season 14 details and start time
Pokémon Legends: Z-A is introducing another significant change to its online Ranked Battles with the arrival of Season 14, which begins next week. Following recent seasons that first lifted all restrictions (Season 12) and then banned legendary and mythical Pokémon (Season 13), Season 14 will permit only Flying-type Pokémon, forcing players to rebuild their teams around a narrower roster. The shift continues a pattern of rule changes designed to keep the competitive scene fresh.
Players may draw eligible Pokémon from both the base game's Lumiose Pokédex and the Mega Dimension DLC's Hyperspace Pokédex, though teams may include only one of Yveltal or Rayquaza. In Ranked Battles, all Pokémon are automatically set to level 50, and four trainers compete in real-time matches using teams of three, earning a point for each knockout, with Mega Evolution central to success. Ranking up from Rank Y through Rank S rewards various Mega Stones, including Greninjite, Delphoxite and Blazikenite. Season 14 runs from Wednesday 15 July at 11:00 p.m. PDT until Wednesday 5 August at 6:59 p.m. PDT.
- Season 14 restricts Ranked Battles to Flying-type Poku00e9mon only.
- Runs 15 July to 5 August; all Poku00e9mon set to level 50.
- Ranking up rewards Mega Stones such as Greninjite and Blazikenite.
