YouTube Stars the Stokes Twins Sign Netflix Deal (Exclusive)
YouTube creators Alan and Alex Stokes, known as the Stokes Twins, have signed a deal with Netflix that will bring an archive of their online videos to the streaming service from 18 July. The agreement marks Netflix's latest move into the creator economy, as the platform increasingly courts established online talent to draw their large, ready-made audiences.
The deal is non-exclusive, meaning the twins' videos will remain on YouTube, where they have more than 140 million subscribers, alongside their sizeable followings on TikTok, Instagram and other platforms. The brothers are also developing a long-form show for Netflix, due to premiere in 2027, though details remain under wraps. In a statement, the pair described the partnership as a "full-circle moment", recalling their early years struggling to fit in and learning English after arriving in America. Netflix has struck similar deals with creators including Ms. Rachel, Mark Rober and The Sidemen.
