Netflix has confirmed that the second season of Guy Ritchie's crime series *The Gentlemen* will premiere on 3 September, roughly two months from the article's publication. The new season sees protagonist Eddie "The Duke" Horniman pursuing more ambitious plans and taking his operation abroad, where he comes into conflict with the Italian mafia.

The first season followed Eddie after he inherited his father's sprawling English country estate, only to discover it concealed a thriving underground cannabis empire; his growing appetite for control, power and money drew him into deeper trouble. Netflix's official synopsis describes a show in which Britain's most dangerous criminals refuse to walk away, forcing Eddie to play by their rules, promising Ritchie's trademark "sharp suits, sharper instincts, lethal consequences". The report also notes this is one of several Ritchie projects in the pipeline, alongside a new Prime Video film and a second season of *MobLand*.
