Sony’s Indian Version of ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’ Hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, Adds Google Gemini as AI Guide (EXCLUSIVE)
Google and Sony Pictures Networks India have partnered to embed Google Gemini into Kaun Banega Crorepati, the long-running Indian game show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. The AI tool functions as an interactive knowledge guide, helping contestants prepare through registration support, subject-based learning challenges, and embedded content within the show itself. Both the television broadcast and Sony LIV streaming platform now feature the integration.
Kaun Banega Crorepati has aired since 2000 and remains a flagship title for Sony Entertainment Television. While the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire format has spawned regional-language versions across Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, Malayalam, Bhojpuri, and Kashmiri, the new Gemini collaboration currently applies only to the Hindi edition, with contestant registration for the season already underway.
- Google Gemini integrates with Kaun Banega Crorepati (India's Who Wants to Be a Millionaire) as an AI learning companion for new-season contestants
- The partnership spans registration, general-knowledge preparation, and on-show content across television and Sony's streaming platform
