LA28 Olympics Moves International Broadcast Center to Warner Bros. Ranch in Burbank

Variety · 2 hours ago

The LA28 Olympics organising committee has decided to relocate its International Broadcast Center from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood to the Warner Bros. Ranch lot in Burbank. The broadcast center is one of the most important operational hubs of the games, serving as the base for broadcasters delivering coverage worldwide, so its location is a significant logistical decision for the 2028 event.

The Ranch lot, although farther from the main venues, is considerably larger — offering 16 stages and production office space across 30 acres, giving greater capacity to host the games' broadcast partners. The plan was approved by the International Olympic Committee in June, and work to convert the site could begin as early as next January. Hollywood Park Studios, near SoFi, will still serve as the main press center. Olympic events will be spread across the region, with the opening ceremonies held simultaneously at SoFi and the L.A. Memorial Coliseum, and other events at venues including the Intuit Dome, Universal Studios and the Rose Bowl.
