Captain America Officially Returns to Boston This August
Chris Evans, the Boston-born Marvel star best known for playing Captain America, will make his first-ever convention appearance in his home state of Massachusetts at Fan Expo Boston this August. The event marks a notable homecoming for the actor, who was born in the city and grew up in nearby Sudbury, and it offers local fans a rare chance to meet him in person.
Evans will be available for photo opportunities, autographs and fan meet-ups on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 August, with tickets going on sale on Tuesday 14 July at 10am ET. The convention runs from 7 to 9 August at the Thomas Michael Menino Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston's Seaport District. Other Marvel names attending include Dafne Keen, Frank Grillo and Mike Colter, alongside cast reunions from shows and films such as The Boys, The Lord of the Rings and Star Trek: The Next Generation. Evans, who retired as Captain America after Avengers: Endgame, is reportedly set to return in some capacity in this winter's Avengers: Doomsday.
