Reservoir has acquired veteran Atlanta rapper T.I.'s entire publishing catalogue, covering both his back catalogue and future works, including his new Top 10 album "Kill the King". The deal underscores the continuing appetite among music companies for established artists' catalogues, with T.I. bringing three Grammy Awards, an estimated 14 million albums sold and collaborations with the likes of Jay-Z, Rihanna and Eminem.

In a separate deal, Primary Wave Music has partnered with Mick Jones, Foreigner's main songwriter and sole remaining founding member, acquiring an undisclosed share of his publishing and recording catalogues alongside the band's name, image, likeness and touring rights. Songs covered include "I Want to Know What Love Is" and "Juke Box Hero", and the tie-up coincides with Foreigner's forthcoming 50th anniversary celebrations. The roundup also notes several industry appointments and signings, including executive moves at Morris Higham Management, Triple Tigers Records, Sony Music Publishing and Luminate, plus a Warner Chappell Nashville publishing deal with songwriter Dallas Wilson.
