Bastian Bux Brings Petit Comité of House to NYC for the First Time
Spanish DJ and producer Bastian Bux is bringing his Petit Comité of House party series to New York City for the first time on Saturday 17 July, staging its debut at H0L0 Yard in Ridgewood. The event marks a symbolic homecoming for a project rooted in house music's origins, which Bux traces back to the clubs and warehouses of New York, and reflects his shift away from major stages towards a more intimate, connection-focused format.
Petit Comité began as a reaction to what Bux felt was a scene drifting from house music's core values, prioritising danceable music, an inviting room and atmosphere over spectacle. The series ran fourteen events across five cities — including Barcelona, Ibiza, Amsterdam, Miami and Colombia — drawing more than 9,000 attendees in 2025, and spawned a record label the same year whose four releases each reached the Beatport Top 10, some for over 100 days. The New York debut, presented in partnership with promoter Gray Area, features Chicago selector Monty Kiddo and New York-based Andrew Nak, alongside signature touches such as floral dancefloor arrangements and a bespoke magnolia fragrance.
