FX has confirmed that its long-running anthology series "American Horror Story" will revive its acclaimed 2013 "Coven" storyline for Season 13, with the first set photos emerging from filming in New York City. The images show Sarah Paulson and Emma Roberts reprising their roles as witches, signalling a return to one of the show's most beloved seasons and generating renewed fan interest ahead of the premiere.

Alongside Paulson and Roberts, returning cast members include Frances Conroy and Gabourée Sidibe, with newcomers Leslie Grossman, Avantika and Alex Consani also spotted, plus Cara Delevingne and Charlie Carver on the 9 July set. The season marks the anticipated return of Jessica Lange, absent since 2018's "Apocalypse," and features franchise regulars such as Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates and Billie Lourd, as well as Ariana Grande and John Waters. Paulson returns as Cordelia Goode, with the network noting it has rebuilt the entire Robichaux Academy; plot details remain secret, and the season premieres on FX and Hulu on 24 September.
