Urgent recall for popular lunchbox snack over fears it contains rubber
A popular children's lunchbox snack, Chickadees, has been recalled in Australia over fears it may be contaminated with rubber. Food Standards Australia issued the recall on Friday, citing "the presence of foreign matter", and has warned customers not to eat the product.
The affected snacks were sold nationwide, both in-store and online, through Woolworths, Coles and IGA retailers. The recall covers the multipacks as well as the 190g, 90g and 45g packet sizes. Customers who have bought the snack are advised to return it to the point of purchase for a full refund.
