Nike is re-releasing its limited-edition Air Jordan 7 Retro "Miró" sneakers, a shoe that traces its heritage to Michael Jordan's appearance with the US "Dream Team" at the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics. The design nods to the Spanish painter and sculptor Joan Miró i Ferrà, having first appeared as a colourway in 2008 to mark the team's gold-medal win. The latest drop went on sale on Friday 10 July at 10 a.m. ET (7 a.m. PT), giving fans another chance to buy a scarce, art-inspired piece of Jordan history.

Priced at $255, the unisex sneakers feature a white, varsity royal and multi-colour design drawing on Surrealism and vivid abstract art, with retro '90s accents and bouncy rubber soles. They are made from a blend of real and synthetic leather with a fabric upper, and notably display Jordan's Olympic No. 9 on the back rather than his familiar No. 23. Nike Members receive free shipping on orders over $50, while non-members must spend more than $75 to qualify; membership is free to sign up for and brings perks such as early access to new drops and special discounts.
