The move reflects a broader shift away from city living for the actor, who has spoken about wanting a quieter, more rural existence for his family.

The property is located in Encino, a neighbourhood in the San Fernando Valley, and has been listed in partnership with a real estate firm. The listing comes as Duhamel promotes his new comedy film "Preschool", which he directed and has described as "art imitating life", drawing on his own experience of getting his two-year-old son into preschool.
