Paramount has confirmed that "Lioness", Taylor Sheridan's spy thriller starring Zoe Saldaña, will return for its third season on 2 August, ending a two-year gap between instalments. The studio backed up its earlier announcement by releasing the first official trailer, part of a wider run of Sheridan-produced television that continues to dominate the network's schedule.

The series also stars Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman and Michael Kelly, alongside Laysla De Oliveira, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner and other returning cast members. It arrives amid a broader expansion of Sheridan's output in 2026, including the Yellowstone spin-offs "Marshals" and "Dutton Ranch" and the Kurt Russell-led "The Madison", all of which have already secured renewals, with "Tulsa King" and "Mayor of Kingstown" also due back later in the year.
