Chloe Fineman Is Leaving ‘SNL’ After 7 Seasons: ‘It Does Feel Like the Right Time’
Chloe Fineman has announced she is leaving "Saturday Night Live" after seven seasons on the NBC sketch show, becoming the first cast member to confirm her departure ahead of season 52's autumn premiere. She revealed the news on Instagram on 16 July, thanking creator Lorne Michaels and describing her time on the programme as "the greatest privilege" of her life while acknowledging it "does feel like the right time" to move on.
Fineman joined SNL in 2019 at the start of season 45 and became known for impressions including Britney Spears, JoJo Siwa and First Lady Melania Trump. Her exit follows that of fellow cast member Bowen Yang, who left mid-way through season 51, while five other cast members departed before that season began. Billboard said it had contacted SNL's representatives for comment; the show currently streams on Peacock.
