2026 Lucid Gravity Touring review: A strong act 2
Ars Technica has tested the 2026 Lucid Gravity Touring, the entry-level version of Lucid's electric SUV, following its earlier reviews of the Lucid Air sedan. The Touring starts at roughly $82,000 in the US and offers less power and range than the pricier Grand Touring model, but the reviewer found that in everyday driving these differences mattered little, with the Touring proving more than adequate for typical use.
The Touring uses a 16-module, 89-kWh battery producing 560 hp and a rated range of 337 miles, compared with the Grand Touring's 123-kWh pack, 828 hp and 450-mile range. The test car, loaded with options including a 22-speaker audio system, third-row seating and advanced driver-assist tech, came to $107,200. Real-world testing yielded around 320 miles of range per charge, and rapid charging on a Tesla Supercharger took the battery from 15 to 95 percent in just 31 minutes, underlining Lucid's continued strength in charging speed.
- Lucid's entry-level Gravity Touring SUV starts around $82,000
- Less power and range than Grand Touring, but feels sufficient in practice
- Charged from 15% to 95% in 31 minutes on a Supercharger
