## Summary

London art-pop quintet 1000 Rabbits have released their new single, ‘Stupid Boy’, through young. The track marks a shift after their debut EP, ‘Are We Friends Yet?’, and reflects the creative energy the band developed during a summer of festivals and touring.

Built around bass synthesiser and River’s theatrical vocals, the song layers violin, guitar and drums into a crescendo. The band describe it as an angry, cathartic experiment shaped by new ways of performing together and with audiences. Its accompanying video follows their daily life through a fish tank, becoming more abstract as the music builds.
