Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle is now available to stream on Crunchyroll, roughly a year after becoming the highest-grossing anime film ever released. The first instalment in a planned trilogy, it adapts the penultimate arc of Koyoharu Gotouge's manga and grossed over $70 million in its opening weekend alone, cementing the franchise's continued box-office dominance following earlier theatrical compilations of previous seasons.

Unlike prior Demon Slayer films, which were later recut into television episodes, the Infinity Castle trilogy is intended as a cinema-only release. The story picks up directly after the Hashira Training arc, following Tanjiro Kamado and the Demon Slayer Corps as they pursue antagonist Muzan Kibutsuji into a disorienting, gravity-defying dimension, with animation studio Ufotable's blend of 2D and 3D visuals rendering the illusion-filled battles in striking detail even outside the cinema.
