15 Years Later, Ryan Gosling’s Most Underrated Crime Thriller Gets Official New Anniversary Release [Exclusive]
Lakeshore Records has announced a limited collectors’ edition vinyl release of the Drive soundtrack to mark the 15th anniversary of the 2011 Ryan Gosling crime thriller. The reissue reflects the continuing appeal of the film’s distinctive synth-led music, which became an important part of its cult reputation.
The release will include double-LP editions as well as revised versions of the soundtrack’s previous fifth- and tenth-anniversary releases. Featuring Cliff Martinez’s score alongside tracks by College, Electric Youth and Chromatics, the album previously reached number four on iTunes and number 35 on the Billboard 200; the new editions are due in shops worldwide on 18 September.
