Sintonia, a Brazilian crime series that aired five seasons between 2019 and 2025, is extending its story through a film continuation rather than ending definitively. The programme tracked three protagonists from São Paulo navigating poverty, organised crime, and spirituality, becoming Netflix's most enduring Brazilian original series before concluding its main narrative.

The follow-up film, Nando Between Two Worlds, centres on the lead character's return to Brazil after five years abroad in Serbia, prompted by his daughter's disappearance. Once there, Nando confronts pressure to rejoin the criminal organisations that shaped his past, forcing a choice between family stability and the criminal connections that previously defined him. The film releases 12 August.
