## Key points

- GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 leave PlayStation Plus on 17 November.
- Downloading them will not preserve subscription access.
- Compatible purchased versions can generally use existing save data.

## Summary

Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 are leaving the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium game catalogue on 17 November 2026. Their removal comes just days before the planned release of Grand Theft Auto 6, and means subscribers who have not finished either game will need to buy a separate copy to keep playing.

The November departures also include The Talos Principle 2, Cricket 24 and Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break. Downloading the Rockstar games before they leave will not retain access through the subscription, though save data can generally transfer to a compatible purchased version. Players should check the edition and region match when buying.
