2022 Survival Thriller That Made 7X Its Budget Returns With Vertigo-Inducing Sequel Trailer
Lionsgate has released a new trailer for Fall 2: Deadpoint, the sequel to 2022's surprise horror-thriller hit Fall. The follow-up relocates the vertigo-inducing action from an abandoned American television tower to Thailand, once again following two friends whose climb turns into a fight for survival amid treacherous terrain and extreme heights.
The original Fall cost roughly $3 million to make but grossed more than $20 million worldwide before becoming a major streaming success, making the leap to a franchise a logical move. The sequel's synopsis promises a climb that "goes higher, gets deadlier, and hits with next-level adrenaline," pushing the same primal fear of heights that defined the first film into more unpredictable and exposed terrain.
