Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey has surpassed $1 billion at the worldwide box office, becoming 2026’s latest billion-dollar film. The milestone reinforces Nolan’s commercial standing after Oppenheimer and highlights the strong audience demand for large-format cinema, particularly IMAX screenings.

The film has earned $429 million in North America and $578 million internationally. It is Nolan’s first release to exceed $1 billion since The Dark Knight Rises; Oppenheimer finished at roughly $975 million, while The Odyssey is about $86 million short of overtaking The Dark Knight Rises’ total.
