A feature documentary about the murder trial of 2Pac is being developed by Propagate Content and Passion Pictures. Directed by Marian Mohamed, it will examine Duane “Keffe D” Davis’s conviction for orchestrating the 1996 shooting, while focusing on Shakur’s family, inner circle and legacy.

The film will include interviews with family members, including Mopreme Shakur, alongside previously unseen footage connected to the case. Davis was convicted of first-degree murder with a deadly weapon on 31 August after prosecutors called 24 witnesses; he faces up to life in prison and is due to be sentenced on 13 October. The documentary is scheduled to air on Sky Documentaries and NOW in 2027.
