## Summary

Netflix’s US catalogue has added *Gladiator II*, one of three films recommended for viewers before October ends. The article says the sequel may not match the original, but its scale, ambition and cast make it worth watching.

Paul Mescal stars as Lucius, who seeks revenge after Rome’s rulers conquer his home. Pedro Pascal, Connie Nielsen and Denzel Washington also feature. The article’s remaining text is incomplete, so it does not provide the other two recommendations.
