*Creep* (2014), directed by Patrick Brice and co-written with Mark Duplass, follows a videographer hired by a man who says he is dying. Mike Flanagan’s *Gerald’s Game* (2017), based on Stephen King’s novel, centres on a woman trapped handcuffed to a bed after her husband dies.
