The three bands profiled are KC And The Sunshine Band, known for hits including "Get Down Tonight" and "That's the Way (I Like It)"; Kansas, whose breakthrough came with "Carry On Wayward Son" before "Dust In The Wind" became their biggest single; and Electric Light Orchestra, who released eight albums and 13 Top 40 singles between 1971 and 1979, including "Evil Woman" and "Telephone Line", despite never reaching number one.
