7 Must-Watch Movies Leaving Netflix in August
Netflix is removing a selection of popular films from its UK catalogue at the start of August, giving subscribers only a few days left to watch them. The line-up spans several genres, including romantic comedy, war drama, and science fiction, with titles ranging from box-office hits to Academy Award-recognised classics.
Among the films leaving are the 2008 romantic comedy "27 Dresses", starring Katherine Heigl, which grossed £127 million worldwide against a £24 million budget, and Mel Gibson's 2016 war drama "Hacksaw Ridge", starring Andrew Garfield as real-life war hero Desmond Doss. Both are due to leave the platform on 1 August, alongside further titles including a Julia Roberts romantic comedy and an Alex Garland artificial intelligence thriller.
