7 Years Later, Kylo Ren Officially Returns to Star Wars With New 2026 Release
Marvel will publish The Fall of Kylo Ren, a five-issue Star Wars comic miniseries, on 12 August 2026. Written by Charles Soule and illustrated by Will Sliney, it revisits Kylo Ren’s period as Supreme Leader and expands the character’s story between The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker.
The series concludes Soule’s Kylo Ren trilogy, following The Rise of Kylo Ren and Legacy of Vader. Its plot centres on Kylo returning from defeat as Generals Hux and Pryde compete for control of the First Order, with the comic presenting his use of fear and violence to reassert authority before his eventual return to Ben Solo.
