## Summary

A Powerball ticket worth an estimated $847 million was sold in New Jersey, but the winner has not yet come forward. Lottery officials are urging players to check their tickets; the prize is the second-largest jackpot in the state’s history and the ninth-largest in Powerball history.

The ticket was bought from an automated machine at a Wegmans in Montvale, which will receive a $30,000 bonus and plans to donate it to a food-bank campaign. The winner can take the estimated $847 million jackpot or a $363.1 million cash payment, and may remain anonymous, though winners of $600 or more must provide identification. The winning numbers were 15, 34, 41, 53, 56 and Powerball 21; the prize must be claimed by 4 November 2027.
