## Key points

- Kilgore would revisit the original show’s tsunami-style emergency.
- She wants responders to work without their usual support.
- Nashville’s first disaster arc involved a tornado and stadium collapse.

## Summary

Stars Hailey Kilgore and Juani Feliz say they would like 9-1-1: Nashville to take on a large-scale natural disaster similar to the original show’s tsunami storyline. Kilgore is drawn to the challenge of responders being cut off from their usual support, while Feliz is keen on an emergency that puts the whole city at risk.

The original 9-1-1 has featured disasters including train derailments, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions and a cruise ship emergency. Nashville’s first season opened with a tornado striking a country music festival and causing a stadium collapse. In the episode discussed, a blinding agent spreads during a pollen storm, leaving people critically ill as responders search for its source and a cure.
