The 2017 psychological thriller *Marrowbone*, starring Anya Taylor-Joy, is now available to stream free on Xumo Play. Collider argues that the film was overlooked on release despite its acclaimed young cast and its Gothic exploration of family trauma, secrecy and fear.

The story follows the Marrowbone siblings after they flee their abusive father and hide at their dying mother’s New England estate. Taylor-Joy plays Allie, a local librarian whose relationship with eldest brother Jack introduces the family to the outside world and gradually leads her to uncover their hidden reality. The film also stars George MacKay, Charlie Heaton and Mia Goth, with director Sergio Gutiérrez Sánchez using a haunted-house setting and psychological twists to frame its family drama.
