A theatre-focused edition of Paris des Arts follows presenter Valérie Fayolle to the Théâtre de la Renaissance in Paris, where actor François-Xavier Demaison takes viewers behind the scenes of Laponie. The comedy centres on a family holiday gathering that turns into a confrontation. Demaison describes theatre as a shared experience that draws audiences together in a space apart from everyday life.

The programme then visits Versailles, where François Morel discusses his production of Molière’s The School for Wives. Morel reflects on how each era finds its own concerns in a classic play.
