## Summary

Netflix has released *A Dog’s Perfect Christmas*, a holiday film about a family coping with grief and a health scare, narrated by an elderly basset hound. For viewers concerned about the dogs, the article confirms that both survive, so the film’s family story reaches a happy Christmas ending.

Dennis Quaid plays widower Sander, who lives with his son Hunter’s family and his dog, Winstead. Bruce Cameron, author of *A Dog’s Purpose*.
