The article states that Abou Jahjah has publicly said he joined Hezbollah, received military training and helped arrange European visits for its leadership; Israel's government identifies him as a former Hezbollah terrorist, and the US has designated Hezbollah a Foreign Terrorist Organisation since 1997. According to the author, HRF gathers soldiers' social media images, links them to their units, tracks their flights and files criminal complaints against them at airports, having pursued cases across sixteen jurisdictions and claimed a dossier of around a thousand names at the International Criminal Court. She emphasises that none of these efforts has resulted in a conviction, with the complaints repeatedly dismissed, rejected or refused.
