Dutch symphonic metal band Epica have announced a 25th-anniversary concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall on 6 October 2027, featuring a full orchestra and choir. The performance is significant as it will be the band’s first appearance at the venue and currently the only announced date in its Symphonic Synergy format, which presents its music with expanded orchestral arrangements.

The six-piece, founded in 2002 by guitarist and vocalist Mark Jansen, has sold more than one million albums worldwide and is currently touring in support of its 2025 album, Aspiral. The Royal Albert Hall show forms part of a wider world tour yet to be announced; tickets go on general sale at 10am UK time on Friday 4 September, while the anniversary celebrations begin with three sold-out Amsterdam concerts in January before Latin American dates in March.
