Dolly Parton's estate has announced Dollyfest: The Celebration of a Lifetime, a music festival honouring the country legend's 60-year career, set to take place over two weekends in Nashville and London in 2027. The event was originally conceived as a January 2026 celebration for Parton's 80th birthday, with plans for her to perform herself, but was shelved after her health declined last autumn, leading her to cancel a run of Las Vegas shows. The announcement follows Parton's death roughly a week earlier after a short illness with cancer.

Danny Nozell, founder and CEO of CTK Enterprises, said the festival had been fully planned and ready to announce before Parton's health setback in August 2025, and framed reviving it as "what Dolly would do." Official dates and a lineup have not yet been confirmed. Since her death, tributes have poured in from artists including Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter and Paul McCartney, while others such as Kacey Musgraves and Jack White have performed covers of her songs live. Parton was buried in a private funeral at Nashville's Woodlawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum on 30 August.
