## Key points

- Its projected weekend takings could challenge Clayface.

## Summary

A24 is expanding You Can See Everything to more than 2,600 cinemas after the documentary topped the US box office with a $15 million opening weekend. Its success is notable because no documentary released in fewer than 1,000 cinemas had previously led the domestic chart.

Co-directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, the three-hour film follows former Theranos chief executive Elizabeth Holmes before her imprisonment for fraud. It opened in 855 cinemas, with 2,000 sold-out screenings, and had the second-biggest documentary opening after Fahrenheit 9/11. A24 expects it to take $25 million to $30 million this weekend, potentially challenging Clayface, which is forecast to debut with about $30 million.
