## Key points

- Donald says his Rams comeback has not matched expectations.
- He says he is enjoying the process and playing with teammates.
- Myles Garrett is back practising before the Commanders game.

## Summary

Aaron Donald says his return to the Los Angeles Rams after two seasons in retirement has not gone as he expected, though he is enjoying playing and improving alongside his teammates. His candid assessment comes as injuries have disrupted the team’s defensive line, making his comeback less straightforward than the high-profile offseason story suggested.

The 35-year-old, a three-time Defensive Player of the Year, also welcomed Myles Garrett’s return to practice ahead of the Rams’ game against the Washington Commanders. Garrett had been sidelined since the team’s Week 1 game; Donald said he looked fast in full pads and was pleased to work with him again.
