## Key points

- Aaron Frazer’s new six-track EP focuses on classic soul.
- *Corners* runs for 19 minutes and includes two singles.
- Its videos recreate the feel of a 1970s dance show.

## Summary

Aaron Frazer has released *Corners*, a six-track EP that leans into the late 1960s and 1970s soul music at the heart of his work. After exploring several genres across his solo and band projects, Frazer says he wanted to deepen that sound and show how simple musical choices can feel elegant.

The 19-minute release includes the singles “It’s a Shame” and “Paint a Picture” and also reflects Frazer’s concerns about how streaming affects album listening. He initially considered releasing 12 singles, frustrated that listeners often stop before an album’s later tracks. The EP’s three music videos draw on the 1970s dance programme *The Hy Lit Show*; Frazer took dance lessons with choreographer Camryn Eakes for the videos.
